I thought I would start a new writing. Tales of true stories. Tell about a moment in your past. As a young person I enjoyed the farm life with different kinds of animals. I even enjoyed a pet mule deer named Buddy. She wore a little studded dog collar. She thought she was one of them. She would travel behind us all on the cross country ski trail. When she felt up to it she would bounce to the front of the line to see us all. She would take her pace leaning in and talking to each of us at the right moment. It wasn’t uncommon for her to give us a kiss on the cheek. Lest we forget, our campers often came home to find her curled up on their sleeping bag in their tent. She was pleasant to all she met. She was someone’s bottle fed abandoned that ended up on our doorstep when they were afraid she would bring harm to herself living near the highway. Yes, we carried the licenses to maintain the big game and zoo animals. This is a good part of the inspiration of my writings. Hope you enjoy the beginning of the tales of true stories.
